This beautiful and finely executed original piece of vintage hand painted Rajasthani artwork, is a Moghul miniature depicting a peacock and peahen on black silk, with a floral border and details picked out in gold paint.
It dates back to my travels in India in the 1990s.
The painting itself measures 13 cm x 9 cm, with a white mount measuring 18 cm x 14 cm.
